Ministry staff

  In 2002 Pastor Joe Perry and his wife, Angela, felt a calling to the Dover area.  Originally members of Apostolics of Canton, they were then sent out to begin a daughter church. D.A.C. first began meeting in a hotel conference room, with very few in attendance, they continued to have faith that Dover is where God wanted them to be. Today, as they continue to have faith in our Heavenly Father, more and more lives are being changed!  

Together with his wife Rose and three young children (Angela, Joe, and Tom), Bishop Ellis founded The Apostolics of Canton in July of 1980.  In 1994, he founded, Purpose Institute, a UPCI endorsed Ministry Training Institute where he continues to serve as the President and CEO. Today, PI has over 2300 students in 80 campuses located throughout North America, as well as many other nations. Joe and Rose have ministered extensively in many nations throughout the world, they continue to actively serve as bishop and founding first lady of a network of congregations.
